Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada has one of the oldest and creepiest legends in Canadian history–the legend of the Screaming Tunnel. Supposedly a young girl perished in the tunnel or thereabouts and her ghost still haunts the tunnel and can be heard screaming at midnight on Halloween. The film adaptation of Stephen King’s book The Dead Zone (1980) staring Christopher Walken was filmed in the tunnel.
